When you joined your network marketing company, what were you told you needed to do to build your business? See if you recognize any of the following things I was told:

1. Make a list of everyone you know and tell them about your business opportunity and get them started on the products you represent.
2. Purchase both business opportunity leads and product leads immediately. This is your advertising.
3. Keep calling your leads until you get a "yes" or "no" from them.
4. Attend every company or organization-sponsored event, no matter where it is and no matter how much it sets you back financially.
5. Participate in every company or organization-sponsored conference call. This will help you improve your “skill sets”.
6. Get yourself on an "autoship" plan with your company’s products and make sure that your downline does the same.
7. If your business is not growing as fast as it should (according to your upline!), buy more leads and spend more time on prospecting calls, recontact your "warm market", and get on more conference calls. Get up earlier in the morning. Work later in the evening.
8. Clarify your "Whys". Why did you get involved in a home-based business?
9. Don’t reinvent the wheel. Follow "the system" precisely as it’s laid out.
Does any of this sound familiar?
While I agree with some of the training I received when I got started in my business, the problem is that most of what I was taught comes from the “old school” of how to build a network marketing business.
In this article I’m suggesting that there is a New Marketing Paradigm. Ask yourself these questions to get a feel for the difference:
What if I had a way to be getting my message out to thousands of people every day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even when I’m sleeping or on vacation?
What if I had an automated marketing and sales system that sorted and pre-qualified prospects before I ever talk to them the first time?
What if by the time I actually talk to someone, they had already sold themselves on my products or opportunity?
What if I had a way to make money even if someone says "No" to my opportunity or to buying my products?
The GOOD NEWS is this is not fantasy land! It’s called internet marketing, or maybe better (for the purposes of this report) I should call it INTERnetwork Marketing! At the heart of this is learning "attraction marketing". This is vital whether you’re running a online or offline business!
This a far cry from dragging unwilling people to "opportunity meetings", pestering your family and friends, putting flyers in every every conceivable place in your community, employing scary and embarrassing tactics to "hit" on complete strangers, and spending hundreds (even thousands) of dollars for leads that have already been sold to 17 other people.
The single most important thing you can do to build your business in the "new paradigm way" is to learn everything you can about internet marketing and how to create a fully integrated marketing system for your business, whether or not you’ve involved in network marketing.
